What a wild ride it’s been!

The last 6 years have been mentally challenging, physically taxing, days of frustration and days of excitement but rewarding to say the least! 👌

From what started as just an idea not long after high school together to building a successful community where we have helped over 1000 people with their health and fitness goals is something we are very proud of.
Our goal is to continue to help as many people as we can on their health and fitness journey to ultimately better improve their quality of life.

We wouldn’t be the business we are today without the support of our friends, family, mentors and of course our members!

Why we love training legs 😤💪

When it comes to building muscle and losing body fat, exercise selection is often overlooked. Many men go into the gym and load up on their upper body, neglecting their legs. This approach has them missing out on a whole heap of benefits.

Training the lower body burns much more calories than training upper body. This is because the legs are half our of body mass. Look at the size of your legs compared to the size of your arms. Because they are half of our body mass, performing most lower body exercises is much more physically demanding. Think about how much energy is required to perform a 20 rep back squat, now compare that to 20 rep shoulder press.

Not only does training lower body burn more calories, which can ultimately lead to burning more body fat. Studies show that training legs increases growth hormone which is critical hormone for building muscle across the whole body.

Lastly, training legs requires a strong mindset which is half the fun. Having a strong desire to push through the pain barrier is essential when training the lower body, which is probably why females are much better at it 😂👌

Goal Setting & Weight Loss 🤔

Achieving goals gives us a sense of accomplishment. It drives us to excel further and push harder. On the other hand, when we want to accomplish a specific goal and don't meet our targets, disappointment usually kicks in, which often turns into resentment, and, eventually, one may decide to quit.

When setting a goal for yourself, try not to be unrealistic and set non-achievable weekly or monthly targets. Otherwise, you may plateau and be dishearted by your progress. Instead, maintain a journal/log on your weight loss by roughly tracking your activity and food while staying persistent with the allocated approach you have set for yourself. Don't be too hard on yourself if things don't go to plan, and remain consistent. Once a week, you can reward yourself with a cheat meal with a loved one to have a break from your hard work throughout the week, although you should get right back on track afterwards.
