Motivation is great when it shows up. Problem is, it never shows up on the mornings that matter.
Most people wait to feel like training before they train. That's backwards. The feeling usually turns up ten minutes into the warm-up, if it turns up at all. The people making real progress on the floor don't feel any more inspired than you do. They just stopped letting the session depend on their mood.
Set the standard, put it in the diary, and turn up whether you're fired up or half asleep. That's the whole trick, and it isn't a trick.
