Moggill Football Club Rise 2026 ๐ŸฆŽ The Moggill United Soccer Club was formed in 1974. Games were originally played on the site currently occupied by the "Dog Park" in Birkin Rd.

Night games were played under lights powered by a portable generator. The club founder was Robbie Roosen and the inaugral Under 7 team became Brisbane Champions. The Bellbowrie Sports and Recreation Association was formed in the early 80's with Soccer coming under their umbrella. We were seperately incorporated as the Moggill United Soccer Club in April 1999. MFC caters to boys and girls from 4-54 with Squirts, Junior mixed, Divisional Age, Youth, Senior Men, Open Women and Over 35. Season 2004 marked the 30th anniversary of the Moggill United Soccer Club. The Club changed its name to the Moggill Football Club (or Moggill FC) in 2006. MFC has more than 500 players, with 50 teams including 6 Senior Mens, 2 Open Women's, 2 Girls and 3 โ€œSuperslick and Superfitโ€ Over 35 teams.

Moggill FC are one of more than 70 clubs that have come together with one clear message: major decisions affecting players, families, volunteers and community clubs must be transparent, properly explained and developed through genuine consultation.

Our clubs may represent different communities, regions and competitions, but we are united in asking Football Queensland to:

- Pause the proposed 2027 Competition Access Fee model
- Pause the current Affiliation Agreement process
- Provide full financial transparency
- Consult meaningfully with affected clubs
- Work with clubs toward a fair and sustainable way forward

This is not about resisting change. It is about ensuring that change is reasonable, properly planned and does not place unfair costs, risks or administrative burdens on families and volunteer-run clubs.

We remain committed to working constructively with Football Queensland for the benefit of everyone involved in our game.

Together, our clubs are stronger. Together, our voices must be heard.

Moggill FC can confirm that Campbell Hurry has resigned from his position as Head Coach of our QPL Menโ€™s First Team.

The Club would like to sincerely thank Campbell for his commitment, hard work and contribution to the Menโ€™s program across his two years at the helm.

Campbellโ€™s time in charge has included some fantastic moments for the Club, highlighted by winning promotion and winning a Grand Final. We look back fondly on his two seasons leading the group and are grateful for everything he has contributed both on and off the pitch. Lions at home. Last minute winners. It has been a blast for players, supporters and the club alike.

We wish Campbell all the very best for his next role in football, one that was hard to turn down, and thank him for his time in the black and yellow. Once a gecko, always a gecko. ๐ŸฆŽ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค

The Club is already working behind the scenes regarding the appointment of our next QPL Menโ€™s Head Coach.

Keep an eye on our channels for further communications regarding the position and the next chapter of our Menโ€™s program.

Thank you, Campbell. ๐ŸฆŽ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›

Another fantastic achievement to celebrate from a memorable 2026 season for Moggill FC, with Lewis Visentin finishing as the MJL U15 leagueโ€™s top goal scorer with 20 goals in the regular season!

Our U15 MJL group has always been built around a team-first mentality, with every player contributing to the success of the team throughout the season. But itโ€™s also important that we recognise outstanding individual achievements along the way.

For an MFC player to score 20 goals in a tough MJL competition, competing week in, week out against some of Brisbaneโ€™s biggest clubs, is a wonderful achievement for Lewis and one the whole club can be proud of.
And when Grand Final day arrived, Lewis delivered again, scoring both goals in Moggillโ€™s 2โ€“1 Grand Final win!
A brilliant season from Lewis and another great moment for our club and junior program.

Congratulations Lewis โ€” 20 league goals, add in two more on Grand Final day and a fantastic 2026 Season.
