Topsides respray at Derwent Marine progressing smoothly, fairing looks fabulous, plus a new colour scheme!.
But, (always a but, it is after all a boat) unknown faults found once hauled have been repaired expertly by Don, Glen & Dave.
Before & after Keel Hull joint (keel was removed to check bolts & repair damage inside & outside from a keel strike on way home from Mackay), mast also removed & diagonal shroud plates replaced (cracked & or damaged), thanks to Mitch from Almasts. Now need to replace Gori drive rubber (prop loose on shaft).
Mast to be restepped next Tuesday, then launch at next high tide.
Hope to be sailing again soon!.

And from Magellan, 270days after departing BYC on 27/2/25 for the delivery trip to Melb, then racing to Osaka with my awesome daughter Megan & cruising home plus the Airlie Beach Race Week, a total of 11,702nm & 462hrs on engine shes back home at 0345 this morning. Just 2d, 17hr from Bermagui to BYC as the final leg.
A fantastic adventure , many thanks to the entrire ORCV family, and fellow compatriots on & off the water, plus Hobart sailors for joining in on some of the srages. Till next time, so many memories to treasure!.
