The first week of finals is done, and while it was a mixed weekend for the Roos, our season is very much alive across all grades 🔥🦘

🏆 OUR SENIOR MEN ARE GRAND FINAL BOUND! 🏆

🔥 Senior Men ✅ Clarence 13.8 (86) def. Lauderdale 6.9 (45)

In wet, windy and challenging conditions at KGV, the Minor Premiers stood tall when it mattered most. The Roos produced a professional finals performance to secure a place in the 2026 Grand Final and earn a well-deserved week off. One more game remains in the quest for premiership glory ❤️🤍

🔥 Senior Women ✅ Clarence 11.12 (78) def. Glenorchy 3.4 (22)

Facing a do-or-die final, our women delivered one of their most complete performances of the season. Strong around the contest and dangerous going forward, the Roos controlled the game from start to finish to keep their premiership hopes alive. They'll take plenty of momentum and confidence into this week's Preliminary Final.

🔥 Reserves Men ❌ Clarence 10.13 (73) lost to North Hobart 12.7 (79)

The Reserves fought hard in a tightly contested battle but fell just short against a quality North Hobart side. The loss doesn't end their season, with the group now turning its focus to a Preliminary Final and one last opportunity to book a Grand Final berth.

🔥 U18 Boys ❌ Clarence 3.9 (27) lost to North Hobart 7.5 (47)

A tough day for our U18 Boys in difficult conditions. While the result wasn't what they were after, the boys have earned a second chance and now have another opportunity to fight their way into the Grand Final next weekend.

Finals Update – Our Youth Squads Shine in 2026

It’s been a huge season across our youth boys and girls programs, with every team showing resilience, growth and a genuine love for the game. This Sunday 6 September is our Boys Teams Grand Final Day!

Last week, our Under 14 girls set the tone, capping off an outstanding undefeated season by claiming the 2026 premiership 🏆

To have five out of our seven youth teams reach a Grand Final in 2026 in extraordinary achievement and a testament to the talent, commitment and culture that exists at our club 🦘

🔴⚪The Under 13 Boys White in their first year in the youth section with a large squad to manage, the boys adapted quickly to top‑division football and the motivation of playing finals. With new players joining and expectations rising, they embraced the challenge. They delivered an outstanding season, finishing on top of the ladder with only two losses. Combined with their speed, skill and teamwork, they’re well positioned for a strong finals campaign.🔴⚪

🔴⚪The Under 14 Boys began the year under pressure, losing several players from last season and welcoming new ones. Their opening game brought a major setback when a serious injury occurred in the first minutes, requiring a coach to leave for hospital with his son. It was a tough start, but the boys rallied and built a strong, united team culture and they stayed strong and consistent. They finished equal on wins and losses with two other teams and secured 3rd place on the ladder.🔴⚪

🔴⚪The Under 15 Boys after a demanding preseason, entered the year fit, focused and determined. Even with constant rotation and changing combinations, they maintained strong cohesion and played high‑quality football throughout the season. Their only loss came against last year’s premiers, and they finished the home‑and‑away rounds on top of the ladder, earning a well‑deserved minor premiership.🔴⚪

🔴⚪The Under 16 Boys have faced one of the most challenging seasons of any group, with players regularly rotating between U18s and U16s. Week to week, the team rarely looked the same but their commitment never wavered. Their adaptability, effort and passion for their teammates has been outstanding. Despite the constant changes, they pushed through and earned a well‑deserved finals berth, finishing 3rd on the ladder.🔴⚪

From our youngest players right through to our senior teams, the future of Clarence Football Club has never looked brighter.

These achievements don't happen by accident. A huge congratulations goes out to our players, coaches, team managers, volunteers and families who have invested so much into the season and helped create an environment where our young Roos can thrive.

Win, lose or draw this weekend, we couldn't be prouder of what these teams have achieved. Let's pack KGV with Red & White and get behind our future stars as they chase premiership glory 🦘🔴⚪

After an outstanding home-and-away season, all four of our senior division teams are finals bound, with three sides earning the reward of a home final.

While our "home" final finds us playing at KGV (and on Glenorchy's home deck!), we're looking forward to a huge weekend of September football as our Roos begin their finals campaigns ❤️🤍

After claiming the Minor Premiership, the Roos enter September exactly where they wanted to be. A win over Lauderdale sends them straight through to the Grand Final, while a second chance remains up their sleeve.

🔥 Reserves Men

The Reserves have put together a brilliant season to earn a Second Semi Final berth. With a Grand Final spot on the line, they'll be looking to continue the form that has seen them become one of the competition's strongest sides.

🔥 Senior Women

It's a do-or-die battle for our women against Glenorchy. The equation is simple: win and keep the premiership dream alive. The group has worked hard all season for this opportunity and will leave nothing out on the field.

🔥 U18 Boys

The boys have enjoyed an outstanding season and now find themselves one win away from the big dance. They'll be looking to make the most of their chance when they take on North Hobart in a huge Second Semi Final.

8.00am - 9.00am
9.00am - 9.30am
1.00pm - 2.00pm

All other times are covered by our wonderful community volunteers!
