Baringa Football Club Inc. will be holding its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), and we invite our members to attend and participate.

AGM Details
Date: Thursday, 17 September 2026
Time: 6:00 PM

The AGM provides members with an opportunity to receive an update on the Club, consider the Club’s financial reports and participate in the election of the Management Committee

Members interested in joining the Baringa Football Club Management Committee are encouraged to complete the attached Management Committee Nomination Form and return it to the Club Secretary.

Voting Eligibility

Voting at the AGM is open to eligible financial members of Baringa Football Club, including parents and guardians of Junior and MiniRoos players.

Please note that Junior Members and Social Members are not entitled to vote.

Members must otherwise meet the voting requirements under the Club Rules, including that any applicable annual membership subscription is not in arrears at the date of the AGM.

If you are unsure whether you are eligible to vote, please contact the Club Secretary prior to the AGM.

Proxy Voting

If you are eligible to vote but are unable to attend the AGM, you may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf.

Please complete the attached AGM Proxy Voting Form and provide it to the Club Secretary before the AGM begins. The Club Rules permit a proxy to be another Club member or another person.

“As another wonderful football season comes to a close, I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to every player, parent, volunteer, supporter and member of our community who has been part of the journey.

Football is about so much more than what happens on the field. It’s about the friendships made, the lessons learned, the early mornings, the muddy boots, the sideline cheers and the memories our kids will carry with them long after the final whistle.

To our parents and families — thank you for the countless hours, encouragement and support you give. To our players — thank you for wearing our colours with pride, giving your best and reminding us why we love this game.

And to our wider community, thank you for continuing to stand behind our club and making it feel like a family.

I am incredibly proud of what we have shared this season, and even more excited for what lies ahead.

This weekend, we’re coming together as one club and one community to support 4-year-old Naya and her family during an incredibly difficult time following her diagnosis with leukaemia.

Across Friday 21 August and Saturday, Baringa FC will be raising funds to help Naya and her family, with 100% of funds raised going directly to them.

We would love donations of baked goods such as cakes, slices, biscuits and cupcakes for sale on Saturday morning.

Finishing the regular season top of the table is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment and consistency shown by the entire squad throughout the season.

From the players on the pitch to the coaches, support staff and everyone behind the scenes — congratulations on a result the whole Baringa FC community can be proud of.

And of course, a huge thank you to our supporters who continue to get behind the boys week after week. 👏
