Today I took one pic and I wasn’t even in it 🤣
It was of my husband and T.
The first thing Matt said when he saw the photo was “dang our house is so messy” 🤣🥲
And my reply was “I know… but it just means we’re living in it with little kids.. and that’s the best feeling ever” 🥺
We had only just visited my in laws the day before and I noticed how organised and neat everything was and honestly it made me a little.. sad? 🫣🥲
Because it reminded me of myself the first time round postpartum with Bella - constantly chasing a “to-do” list and feeling guilty if everything wasn’t perfect.
Now.. I couldn’t be more happy with my messy space, sticky surfaces and colourful walls - this to me is such a full life and I know I’ll wish to come back to these days when I’m 80 🥺
To all the mamas out there - Happy Mother’s Day!!! I see you 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
It may be time to cross over to the side because my watch dying on me on my last 2 km hurts a lil ngl 🫠🫠
Anywho!!!! Had so much fun running the today 🥰🫶🏼 vibes were immaculate! Amazing crowd! Thank you to the random volunteers and strangers who cheered my name especially in the last few kms 🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼
“What a privilege to be able to do this” & “for Bella, T, Matt, mum, dad and MEEEEE” were my go to mantras whenever the hills came into sight 🥵

Hi fam - I’m back from my 2 week hiatus because we’re officially back to school 🫡🤭
Honestly the most chaotic but fun school holidays I’ve ever experienced with the littles 🥰 Last school holidays T had only just begun walking but now that he’s pretty much sprinting everywhere this time ‘round was jam packed with adventures for the two and honestly it was full on but so magical 🥺🤭
No doubt these are the days I’ll go back to when I’m 80 🤭🥺
1. My besties 🐵👸🏻
2. Sashimi platter of my dreams 🍣
3. New family fav sushi spot 🙊
4. So many Easter activities that Bella enjoyed while T tagged along as the supportive little brother 🤣🤭
5. Bella always living her best life 🥰👸🏻
6. Checked out a couple of local Easter shows 🐣
7. Bella rode a pony for the first time and even took photos while on the pony 😅🐴📸
8. Lots of playground hopping 🛝
9. Lots of cafe hopping ☕️
10. Reminding the kids mum’s still strong 🤣
End of an era 🥹
The cot, bassinets, baby carriers… all the newborn things we held onto for T from Bella have officially been passed on this past weekend.
And honestly.. a part of me will always wish for one more newborn cuddle, one more tiny moment with them like that again 😩
But another part of me truthfully? …
She’s ready to feel like me again 🫡
This next chapter will look a little different.
It won’t be perfect, but I’ll keep showing up anyway.
Messy, imperfect, and getting it done — like we always do as mums 🥰😌
We’ve got a few big months before maternity leave officially ends 👀

Just going to take it one day at a time…
