The Wallabies might not have got the result, but our Wakehurst supporters still had an amazing day! 🏉💙

From taking part in the march past to cheering on the Wallabies alongside their teammates, it was a fantastic experience and a day to remember! 🇦🇺👏

All members are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting.
We’ll be looking back on the 2026 season, presenting the club’s financials and electing our committee for 2027.

Several committee members are stepping down, and we’re looking for some new faces to help shape the future of Wakehurst Rugby Club.
Committee positions include:

🏉 Bladesie’s Farewell: Sunday 1 November, from 11am

We’re gathering at the Park to farewell Gareth “Bladesie” Blades, Life Member, former President, and forty years a Wakehurst man (since 1986).

In 1995 Bladesie led the negotiations that kept Wakehurst at our ground. Decades later he was still touring Fiji with our juniors. On Sunday 1 November we’ll form one last tunnel for him, walk with his family to the centre of the field, and then head back to the clubhouse for stories, a drink and a feed.

📍 Wakehurst Rugby Park, Cnr Forest Way & Waldon Rd, Belrose
🕚 From 11:00am, with the tunnel at 11:25am
🍻 Bar open, $5 drinks. Food on the club.

Looking for somewhere to catch the Springboks v All Blacks this Sunday morning?
Our great friends and sponsors Bucketty's Brewing Co. are opening Chalky’s in Brookvale from around 6am, with the game live on the big screen from 7am.
They’ll have breakfast on the menu, it’s family friendly and hopefully there’ll be a few Wakehurst faces there for what should be a cracking game.
