Good afternoon crew. It is perfect weather for Friday afternoon social tennis. Turn up from 5pm or earlier if you have your own access keycard. All levels and non members welcome if you want to bring someone along. Gold coin or $2 contribution to cover ball costs. If you have your own balls no fee to play just come and join in.🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Meet your new Benalla Gardens Tennis Club Committee 🌿🌸🎾

We had a great AGM on Thursday night. We welcomed back Mick as El Presidente (the President) and Justin as manager of the Treasure (the Treasurer). We welcomed some new committee members ~ Ramey as keeper of the records (Secretary), and Giulia and Lou as all things community and vibez (Engagement). We all look forward to contributing to this incredible Club, and making it a even more inclusive and welcoming place for everyone in Benalla.

Thank you to everyone who came to the AGM and all our members who continue to come out and play tennis. Thank you to Terry, past President, for chairing. An enormous thank you to Mick for contributing so many volunteer hours organising events, coaching, upgrading the club rooms, cleaning the courts post floods. The list goes on. Also big thank you to Gavin Perry for all your dedication and volunteer hours to maintain the Club.

We shared the great news that the Benalla Council has chosen to retain our Club in its current location. We welcome this news. It really shows Council listens to the community. Big thank you to all the Councillors and staff involved in this decision.

For now, see you on the court. Keep an eye out for comps, social tennis and more fun events coming your way.

Tomorrow Wednesday 29 July at 6pm a report will be presented to the Finance and Planning Committee to hear public submissions on the draft Recreation Reserves Masterplan.

The meeting it will be at the Town Hall.
Whether or not you have written a submission, you are welcome!🤝🤝🤝
It will be a good opportunity to be all on the same page!!

Renting our facilities for events it's also a good way for our club to sustains itself while providing space for our community, giving people the chance to spend time outdoors, socialize and why not maybe have a hit at tennis ooooor volleyball!!!!😁😁😁😁

The Benalla Council has recently released the Draft Recreation Reserve Master Plan and we have until 💥5pm Wednesday 22 July 💥to 'Have your Say' and save the historic Benalla Gardens Tennis Club!

If you need help to make a submission please send a private message to this page and we will support you. 🙂
