🚵‍♀️ Gippy Girls Can — All Ladies Ride! 💜

📍 Omeo MTB Park

Grab the crew, bring the stoke, and come ride with us for a special all ladies ride as part of Gippy Girls Can Month — a Gippsland-wide celebration helping women and girls get active in welcoming, social and pressure-free ways.
Riders will have access to a discounted single or all day pass shuttle to the top of Mt Sam, where you’ll have two ride options to choose from:

🔥 Option 1: Miss Adventure
Built predominantly by an all-female trail crew, Miss Adventure is the spicy choice — fast, flowy sections, rock gardens, optional tech lines and plenty of trail character. This one’s not for the faint-hearted though… after the fun comes a cruisy 10km climb back to the summit before making your way back to town. Expect around 24km total if you ride Miss Adventure and return to town.

🤘 Option 2: Bangers and Thrash
Keen for a shorter roll back? Drop into Bangers and Thrash and follow your way back to town for a fun 12km ride with good vibes all the way home.
Whether you’re here to push your limits, meet other riders, or simply enjoy a day out on the bike, this ride is all about connection, confidence and getting more women out on trails.
No ego. No pressure. Just bikes, dirt and good times. 💪✨
Tag your riding buddy and come join the fun!

Wheels roll at 9:30am, so you’ll be back down in plenty of time for the AFL kick-off… or, if the dirt is calling louder than the siren, leave the hubby and kids in charge of the BBQ and keep the good times rolling all day. 🚵‍♀️🔥🏉

Registration is essential, so we can make sure everyone has a seat on the shuttle and enough goodies to go around. Don’t wing it — lock in your spot and come ride with us! 💜

Have you been to McMillan’s Lookout?

​It’s a beautiful historic lookout with a great view looking out over Hinnomunjie, the Omeo Valley, Lake Omeo and Wilson's Creek, with Benambra and Omeo in the distance.

Framed by the Great Dividing Range and the iconic Sisters and Brothers which sit in the Bowen Range.

​There is so much history and geological significance here!

Come along and join Benambra Neighbourhood House and the Hinnomunjie Campdraft Association on Saturday 3 October for a great day of campdraft action — and grab some brekkie or lunch while you’re there!

☕ BREAKFAST | 7am–9am
Egg & bacon rolls and a hot cuppa to get the day started.

🍔 LUNCH | 11am–2pm
Hamburgers, sausages with coleslaw & onions, and a good ol’ veggie burger!

🍰 PLUS Pauline’s Homemade Cooking
Delicious sponge cake and slices, along with cold drinks, soft drink, water and chips.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ARE UPON US- and the Benambra Neighbourhood House Office will be CLOSED....for the two week school holiday period, Commencing Monday 21st September.

and that means a well earned break during the school holidays, however we are catering for the Hinnomunjie Campdraft Association on Saturday the 3rd of October for Breakfast and Lunch.

Please JOIN US and lend a hand, setting up, cooking, serving, packing up.... and BUYING LOTS OF YUMMY FOOD..to help us raise money for our local project's including the Benambra Men's Shed...we need to raise a lazy $60k for the septic!
