🔥 PROUD DAY FOR BFC 🔥
Today we had four of our novice boxers step through the ropes at Hammers, and every single one of them absolutely smashed it.
🥊 Alfy & “Slim Shady”
At just 9 and 10 years old, these boys continue to train the house down, and today it showed. Both stayed composed, stuck to their game plans and represented themselves, their families and BFC with pride and honour.
We couldn’t be prouder of the way these young men carried themselves.
🥊 Eliza
At only 14 years old, Eliza has completely blown us away with the improvements she’s made recently. Over the past month she has taken her boxing to another level, and today she put it all together.
From start to finish she boxed beautifully, stayed disciplined and executed her game plan exactly as asked. A seriously impressive performance.
🥊 Levi
Last but certainly not least, Levi at 15 years old stepped up against opposition who was older and almost 10kg heavier.
Did it bother him? Not one bit.
He backed himself, stepped into the ring without hesitation and showed exactly the type of attitude we want our fighters to carry.
Four young athletes. Four performances to be proud of.
Days like today remind us that the future of BFC is looking very, very strong.
They just don’t make ’em the same anywhere else. There must be something in the water at BFC. 👊🔥
Proud coaches. Proud gym. Proud team.
BFC- built different.
Big ups to Martin John & Robert Hopley for cornering duties ✊✊✊✊✊✊

“So do not fear, for I am with you.
Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Unanimous decision win in professional boxing.
There are so many people I need to thank, in no particular order, I want to show some appreciation to everyone who played a part in this moment.
Firstly, thank you to my formidable opponent for an incredible fight. 🙏
With more than 20 professional fights to his name, I wasn’t sure what to expect but you brought experience, toughness and heart, and you made me earn every second of that victory. Nothing but respect. 🫡
Thank you to my brothers Kaleb, Hamish, Dariean & Matt.
The word “brother” is thrown around a lot, but these boys truly are my blood brothers. Through everything, you’ve been beside me and believed in me.
Thank you to my corner Mark Gaela, Luke McKenzie & Raul Salisbury for having my back tonight on short notice since my coach Gary Austin couldn’t make it.
Thank you to all of my team mates and students, we do this together, day in day out.
Thank you to everyone who helped throughout camp.
Every round of sparring, every training session, every word of encouragement and every sacrifice contributed to what happened in that ring.
Thank you to every single person who bought a ticket, travelled to support me, or purchased the stream. I felt that support, and I’ll never take it for granted. ✊
A massive thank you to BFC’s sponsors Statewide Forensic Cleaning, Pica Solicitors, Old Green Bean & Say Cheese Pizza.
Your continued support of our gym, our fighters and our vision means more than you know.
And thank you to my grandparents, Mario & Anna Paolini.
Everything you sacrificed and everything you built for our family is something I carry with enormous pride.
I hope I represented the Paolini name with honour. 🇮🇹
This past month, particularly, has been one of the busiest and most demanding periods of my life. It tested me physically, mentally and emotionally, and it reminded me just how grateful I am for the people I have around me.
I hope my performance was worthy of representing my gym, my town, my family name and my people. 🙏
This is not just my victory.
This is OUR victory.
For now, we celebrate. 🥂
Reel coming soon. 🎥

Bendigo Boxing Championships #3
DONE! ✅🥊
What a night.
A massive congratulations to every fighter, coach and team who took part in our fourth show with the VABL.
Once again, the atmosphere and energy were incredible from start to finish.
The weeks leading into this event were incredibly challenging.
Our community lost a close friend to su***de someone who was truly part of our gym family. Rest in peace. ❤️
We also faced a huge number of late withdrawals and unexpected challenges, but our team pulled together and went above and beyond to deliver a great night for everyone.
A huge thank you to the Victorian Amateur Boxing League and Truscott Reserve who continued to give BFC the opportunity to bring these events to Bendigo over and over.
We genuinely believe something special is growing here, Bendigo has always been a fighting town, with a proud history of fighters and coaches stretching back generations.
Our city was named after legendary bare-knuckle fighter William “Bendigo” Thompson, and while we have enormous shoes to fill, we’ll continue doing everything we can to honour that fighting legacy.
To our sponsors
Pica Solicitors , Old Green Bean, Say Cheese Pizza
Thank you for continuing to believe in us.
These aren’t simply local businesses; they’re great people with genuine connections to our gym and community.
Please support them whenever you can. 🙏
To the dozens of volunteers who helped from Friday through Sunday, setting up, running the event and packing everything down, we simply could not have done it without you.
Your support was unbelievable. ❤️
A special thank you to for supplying the incredible meat for the BBQ, thank you to Yellow Hire, and thank you to Eight Apostles - Photo, Video and Design and for capturing the night. 📸🎥
Photos and footage coming soon.
Thank you to all of the gyms and coaches who supported our show! 🥊🥊

We hope every fighter walks away proud of their performance, regardless of the result.
Win, lose or draw you stepped under those lights, put everything on the line and showed courage that most people will never live the opportunity to understand.
Every time you make that walk, remember who you are, what you’ve sacrificed to get there, and who you represent.
Stand tall. Be proud.
You all earned your place under the lights.
Our cup is full. Thank you, Bendigo. 🙏
As for what comes next… we’ll wait and see. ⏳
