Owning/Running a gym has a lot of hidden requirements behind the curtains most don’t realize..

I teach boxing for free, the membership covers the constant cleaning, general upkeep & repairing of equipment, book work/ accounting, social media advertising/ content creation (like this video) and as much as I dislike doing them, it is required to operate smoothly and keep the doors open…

Anyway here’s me spending 2 hours cleaning the gym on a Sunday, and this video took even longer than that to make…

35 years old, 20+ years in the sport and still training and jumping in for rounds often… everything I teach comes from lived experience, through sparring & fighting some of the best fighters in the world over the decades, studying, experimenting, and always striving to learn. Sparring gives me an opportunity to demonstrate what I teach being used, give less experienced boxers valuable rounds to help them prepare for bouts and improve & it keeps me on my toes… 🥊🕺
