This time of year really is perfect for outdoor training — sunny mornings with weather that’s not too hot and not too cold.
We kicked things off with some heavy slamballs to get the heart rate up, mixed with a series of tough hold exercises that really tested the legs, core and shoulders. Plenty of shaking muscles and a few laughs along the way.
Nothing beats training outside on a morning like that — fresh air, a great crew, and everyone pushing themselves to get better each session.
We finished it all off with a well-earned, delicious breakfast. A great way to start the weekend.

Run About Bendigo Christmas Bootcamp
This year’s theme was an Advent Calendar Challenge!
Two teams went head-to-head, battling it out 1-on-1 for the chance to remove a Jenga block and add it to their advent calendar
First team to 24 blocks (or the most by the end) took the win — and it was a very close competition all morning!
We wrapped things up with well-earned coffee, food and a special visit from Santa himself
I just want to thank everyone for an incredible year — I truly felt spoilt by all the lovely gifts. Looking forward to another great year next year :)

Run About Bendigo’s Xmas in July – What a Night!
Our crew swapped the sweat sessions for silly games, belly laughs, and some truly hilarious gifts. There were dodgy reindeer, competitive trivia, some eye opening shock factor stories and more than one gift that left us questioning everything.
From start to finish, it was all laughs, good vibes, and plenty of festive mischief. You all showed up in style and brought the fun with you — as always.
Thanks to everyone who joined in and made the night such a blast. Thanks for your great venue and delicious food. Same time next year?

Well done to all the RABers running this weekend. There is a few missing from this pic. Hopefully get a bigger pic later.
Tough conditions coming from training in the minus degrees now to a sweaty 20 plus degrees. Good work everyone, time to relax now.

RAB hitting up Queensland!
We've made it to sunny Queensland and we’re soaking up the warmth and having a little R&R.
After training through chilly Bendigo mornings, it’s a welcome change to be running under blue skies and palm trees!
Proud of everyone giving it their all—bring on race day!

Yes, it’s cold. Yes, it's dark. Yes, your blanket loves you. But so does your heart. And your lungs. And your future self who wants to climb stairs without sounding like a haunted accordion.
Stay active, stay warm, and remember: summer bodies are technically made in thermal leggings.

Just a heads-up that tomorrow night’s 6:30 run session won’t be going ahead as I have another commitment. Apologies for any inconvenience, and thank you for understanding! We’ll be back to normal next session.

Your body was made to move. Out here, the sky’s your ceiling, the breeze is your fan, and the ground might be a little uneven… but so is life.
Ditch the gym walls and come get fit where your energy can actually run wild.

Run About Bendigo turns 5 today......
That’s half a decade of sweat, sore muscles, early mornings, and the occasional burpee-induced emotional breakdown.
To every amazing client who’s run, walked, limped, or laughed with us over the years —THANK YOU! You’ve shown up in the rain, the cold, and the hot sun... and I’m so proud (and slightly shocked) you keep coming back.
Here’s to five years of fitness, friendship, and sore muscles — and many more to come! You bunch of masochists.....

Some people go to Rosi Park for the shady trees. We go to sweat beneath them.
Join our fitness crew where the only thing heavier than the dumbbells is the sarcasm.
Burpees? Yes. Laughs? Absolutely. Judgment? Never.
We lift, we run, we complain creatively — and then we march straight to .coffeeonview for that well deserved coffee.
Because nothing says ‘balance’ like push-ups followed by lattes.
Come for the gains, stay for the banter…and the post-workout coffee.
