Plans for Winter Doubles Tennis at Strathdale Park Tennis Club are underway. If you would like to join our Thursday 8pm group - intermediate level and up, starting Term 2, please reach out ASAP.

We already have 27 teams across two nights, and need just 5 more to fill out the competition! We are super proud of the welcoming and fun tennis environment we offer at SPTC. SIGN UP NOW and see for yourself 😊

I'm pleased to announce the Strathdale Park Tennis Club committee for 2026, following our AGM in December.

We're looking forward to a fantastic calendar of Tuesday and Thursday night competitions, Saturday Pennant, and plenty of great initiatives across the year for our tennis community.

On the pickleball front, our program has grown tremendously since Brendon and Grant Keath established Strathdale Park Pickleball Club. Brendon will now have the support of the following Pickleball Subcommittee to assist him in running day-to-day club operations. Special thanks go to Grant and Melissa Keath, who worked tirelessly alongside Brendon to grow the pickleball side of things and have stepped back this year.

Happy New Tennis Year! Here is a great event for a great cause that our friends at Castlemaine Lawn Tennis Club are hosting this weekend:

...Sorry for the short notice but we are kicking off the year with a 1-Point Tournament on Sunday, February 1st. It's a fun-filled afternoon supporting local tennis families impacted by the Harcourt bushfire, featuring quick 1-point matches in divisions for 12U, 15U, Open, 50+, 65+, and 80+ (based on your 2026 age), plus social hitting, pickleball, BBQ, and a raffle (so great prizes on offer).

The AGM will include presentation of Annual Reports and financial statements, election of the 2025-26 Committee, and general business. This meeting is an important part of keeping our club strong, transparent, and welcoming for all who step through our gates. ALL OFFICIAL POSITIONS ARE OPEN FOR NOMINATIONS; that means, President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and 5+ General Committee Members. We need YOU to keep this club going.

As a community-run, volunteer-powered club, we rely on the passion, skills and generosity of our members. If you are interested in joining the Committee—or simply offering a bit of time, expertise or a helping hand throughout the year—we would love to hear from you. No experience is required, just a willingness to pitch in. As we all know, many hands truly do make light work, and even the smallest contribution helps our club continue to thrive. Areas you could support us in, include: Competition Management, Fundraising & Sponsorships, Social Media and Website Mgt, Major Projects Coordination, and Maintenance.
