So true!
The love language we don't talk about.
It's the quiet act of someone choosing to work on themselves.
Not just for their own sake, but for the health of the relationship.
Itâs easy to say âThatâs just how I am,â and expect others to accept our flaws and triggers as unchangeable parts of us.
But real love ..... deep, mature love, looks different.
Itâs someone who recognizes their wounds and patterns, and instead of making them your burden, takes responsibility for their healing.
Itâs the partner who notices when their words cut too deep, or when old habits threaten new happiness, and chooses to do the work to grow.
You deserve someone who doesnât expect you to simply tolerate the parts of them that hurt you.
You deserve someone who sees the impact of their actions and is willing to change, not because you demand it, but because they care about your peace, your safety, and your heart.
Love isnât just about grand gestures or sweet words.
Sometimes, itâs about accountability.
Itâs about someone who looks at their own reflection and says, âI want to be better for me, for you, for us.â
Thatâs the kind of love that builds trust, deepens connection, and heals old wounds.
Always remember .... you are worthy of a love that grows.
Of a partner who chooses healing over excuses, effort over complacency.
Donât settle for less than someone whoâs willing to do the work, because thatâs a love language that will last a lifetime.

Love this!

When I say âhappy new yearâ,
Iâm not for a moment,
expecting this to occur,
for that is not possible,
a year must be all things.
Happiness must come and go,
like the tides and the winds,
just as sadness,
and all the emotions in between.
When I say âhappy new yearâ,
Iâm really wishing you,
a baseline of peace,
of gratitude.
Because if you can sit with these things,
for the most part,
happiness will thrive,
when it does arrive,
and sadness will know its place in the mix.
If you can nourish these things,
daily,
you will also grow hope,
for it flourishes in such soil.
And hope is the key,
to this enigmatic state
of âhappinessâ we seek.
When I say âhappy new yearâ,
Iâm really wishing you more happy days,
than sad days,
more joy than misery,
more laughter than tearsâŚ
and the wisdom to accept,
that they all belong.
Happy new year, my friends.
Happy new year.

Instead of saying, "I know what it feels like", let's say "I cannot imagine your heartbreak".
Instead of saying, "You're strong, you'll get through this, let's say " You'll hurt, and I'll be here.
Instead of saying, "You look like you're doing well, Let's say, "How are you holding up today?"
Instead of saying, "Healing takes time", let's say "Healing has no timeline".
Instead of saying, "Everything happens for a reason, let's say "This must feel so terribly senseless right now".
And when there are no words to say at all, you don't need to try and find some. Love speaks in silences too.
