South Bendigo Bowls Club

Due to the weather forecast tomorrow the practice match in Ballarat will not proceed. That said our intention is, weather permitting we will have a intra club practice match at 1pm.
We would like to see as many members as possible to play a practice match tomorrow at the club.

🏆 SBCC PENNANT SHIRT — SIZING & ORDER

To all SBCC members intending to play Pennant Bowls this season, l’ll be at the club with the sizing samples for our new Pennant shirt on the following days and times:

📅 Tomorrow morning: 9:00am – 10:00am
📅 Monday 7 September: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
📅 Tuesday 8 September: 4:00pm – 6:30pm
📅 Wednesday 9 September: Morning — during Ladies Social Bowls
📅 Thursday 10 September: 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Happy 90th Birthday to Bill Woods, one of our stalwarts to the game!!!

Thanks to those members who filled out the clubs pennant player survey last week. The region has decided to leave the upcoming season at 21 ends.

Congratulations to Brad Holland and Darren Burgess who have both been selected to represent Victoria at the Nationals being held mid October in Perth this year.
Brad will be in the open side and Darren will be in the senior side. Good bowling to you and the rest of the selected Vic teams.

We had the pleasure of hosting a Fit for Walking presentation this morning presented by the team from Kieser Bendigo and Brooks Australia. Over 60 members from Kieser Bendigo and South Bendigo Bowls Club were given expert advice in regards to shopping for walking shoes ensuring the right walking shoes are chosen by the individual. Just as important is ensuring we are fit for walking and Kieser's qualified team provided vital information to keeping the body sound.
