After a well earned break at the beach at Walkerville (near Wilson's Prom), classes are set to resume on Monday Jan 29th.

Note: new class time for Monday.

9:30am Mondays from January 29th until March 18th
(NO CLASS Feb 26th or Mar 11th)

8:00am Saturdays from February 3rd until March 23rd
(NO CLASS Feb 10th or 24th)

How great is this weather? I am always so happy when the weather starts to get warmer. Although spring, being the trickster that she is, can give us all sorts of weather. I hope you’ve been able to find some sun.

I am so happy to be back teaching the Saturday morning class.
However, there are no classes for the next two weeks. I’m attending a workshop with Yoga Dharma Life and a retreat with Reconnect Studio

My element is water.
We all have an element we are more drawn to. For me water; the sound, sight and smell of it, centers me, brings me home, clears my head and helps me fine a deep ease.

This morning I walked with my daughter along the Darebin creek trail. It was just what I needed after 3 days in the city. Birds, nature, water flowing. It was hard to remember that we were in the city.

What is your element? You probably have one that you favour, can you spend some time being with it? For my hubby it is the earth, he loves the mountains and can stare for ages at a mountain landscape, plus he rides his bike in them every week.

Finally! This book has arrived.
In 2019 Leigh Blashki and I began writing our contribution to two chapters to this comprehensive textbook for the field of yoga therapy.

I was honored to be invited as a contributor amongst some of the world’s leading yoga therapists. Many of who have been inspiring teachers for me over the years.

My Actual Practice this morning.

Nothing fancy, daggy trackies, blundstones

Featuring Ruckus and Mac (our son’s dog).

Long slow breaths, moving slowly with the breath, feeling the sun on my face, enjoying the sounds of nature, and although they were camera shy, you can hear the chooks in the background.

You don’t need a mat, or a special room, or a candle. Just you, an intention to be present, and your breath.

I've got a cold, was feeling a bit crappy, but the sun was my tonic today.
