Stay safe everyone!! What crazy weather we have had in last 24hrs with more rain expected. Around 92mm since 9am yesterday, flooding, power outages, damage to roads and houses.

Remember - if its Flooded Forget It!!!

Stay away from flood waters you do not know what has happened to the roads underneath!!! Don't take the risk!

Keep dry and hopefully we can get back to some sunshine soon

Shallow water play and exploration is fantastic to build children’s confidence and independence in the water. Remember even shallow water play required ACTIVE ADULT SUPERVISION. Children will enjoy self submerging underwater. Children should learn to recover independently to a standing position.

Why don’t we teach bubbles in infant aquatics?
Teaching a strong breath hold allows your child enough time to return to a safe point if they fall in.
If they expel all their air (blow bubbles) their opportunity to reach safety is limited. 01/01/2024

Why dont we teach bubbles? Is a common question asked by parents and care givers in our infant aquatics. We at the new look Sloan swim school follow the Laurie Lawerance philosophy of swimming and breath control is one of our major safety learning tools in our infant aquatics a strong breath control can save your child’s life.👶
