There's a lot of talk about the use of bowling arms but it's great to see it prolonging the careers of many bowlers. Already Nev Sonego seems to have adapted to the change well.

Great to see over 30 bowlers out on the green for our first roll up on a great day. And there was plenty of early form on show. Including Bob Parmenter.

That's a wrap. After 5 days of 'greenkeeping' 1000 metres of a training track at Trevenson Park we were rewarded with a BBQ , drinks and a donation to the club. Thanks to those members who were able to assist and hopefully they enjoyed the experience of looking around a magnificent training development. These pics don't include the many others that helped out.
Unfortunately the weather has got us again. Therefore our Wednesday social and Thursday Ladies Pairs have been cancelled this week.

A beautiful sunny winters day greeted our Ladies Pairs bowlers today. 12 teams competed with the ladies from Harcourt taking all the chocolates. Wendy Chaplin and Judi Miles had another win with 2 wins plus 15 from Carol and Libby also from Harcourt plus 13. Libby also won the jackpot. We thank all clubs/ladies for supporting this concept.

Great to see bowlers back on the greens today for our social bowls. Winners on the day were Bill McCurdy and Bob Hibble with 2 wins and 9 up ahead of some very close games. Trish Goudge was the lucky jackpot winner. Unfortunately Bob had to leave early but we found Bill enjoying a drink after their win. Hopefully our ladies pairs will be able to enjoy a sunny day tomorrow.

We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves but with a reasonable outlook bowls should be back this week. Bendigos jackpot pairs tomorrow, names by 9.00 then our Wednesday social bowls, names in by 11.30. Then on Thursday our Ladies pairs returns. This is a great chance especially for new ladies to play a different format to fours. Entries by 11.00am.
