We are hosting not ONE but TWO 1 Point Slams! Get your name down for a chance to WIN!

Come and experience the excitement of a 1 Point Slam powered by Haier Community Event, where every point counts! By registering for our event, you will gain a place in the draw to have your chance to play for a spot at the State Championships. Win your point, move onto the next round!

If you win our event, you will progress to the State Championships, one spot closer to Rod Laver Arena and the $1million prize.

The last man standing and the last woman standing at the State Championships will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Australian Open Opening Week to compete in the national qualifiers. From there, 4 men and 4 women State Champions will earn a place in the 1 Point Slam Main Draw.

Wimbledon Warm-Up- a Trivia treat
How many tennis balls are used each year at Wimbledon?
The answers to this and numerous other head-scratchers were revealed at Saturday’s Wimbledon trivia quiz night, hosted by charismatic coach and quizmaster Occy Boron. Vouchers from local businesses went into in two generous raffled hampers, guessing games and spot prizes.
All this fun and frivolity resulted in a timely injection of funds for ongoing club works.
Thanks to our hardworking President Richard Rossi and dedicated committee members who made this a memorable Wimbledon warm-up.

Sadly, we won’t be holding the Orange Street Halloween Spooktacular this year. We’ve run into some challenges that are too difficult to overcome right now, and we want to make sure the event is as safe as possible for everyone involved. We’re hopeful that by next year we’ll have these issues resolved and be able to bring the event back to the community.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved in making this event possible in the past —from the residents of Orange Street who decorated and handed out lollies, to the generous community members and business sponsors who donated, and of course, the many families who dressed up, trick-or-treated, and enjoyed the wonderful decorations.

The safety of the community is always the Club’s and Orange St Residents Group’s top priority.

Hopefully, we’ll be back bigger and better next year.
