Throwback and recap of what it’s like to be on a Worlds Team 🌍 …. Dream BIG cheerleaders! Wishing all the best to everyone trying out for the next season and especially those who are on their Worlds 25 Journey 🙌🏽, no matter what gym you’re from or what level you’re aiming for. It has been a while since our last post, but felt it was important to show our support as we head into the most important time of Cheer year - Nationals!

As many of you are already aware, OXYGEN closed down earlier this year. It was a tough decision, but the right decision and paramount was the welfare and care of all our students, staff and families. We want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all our staff, students and industry supporters who have shown kindness, respect and actively championed OXYGEN during what has been a very difficult time. Also, a shout out to all other the incredible gyms that stepped in when we closed to take on our students, ensure that their training was minimally interrupted and that they had the opportunity to continue their path towards Nationals. Plus a personal thanks to so many others who have been there - you know who you are...

We are very grateful over the last 20 years to have made such amazing memories, worked with some of the industry’s best choreographers, consultants and Event Companies. We have proudly developed and nurtured some of Australia’s Cheer talent and to have been a part of such an exciting, energetic and continually evolving industry!  

To all our former students we hope that your time at OXYGEN this year has played a part in giving you the skills, support and confidence on your journey to Nationals and we wish you all the best. 

When the time is right, we will share more on our reasons behind the closure and what the future holds for out team and family. Until then, all the best and remember “Champions aren’t only made in the gyms; they are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision”. Good luck at Nationals!
