Our Nearest to the Pin Challenge is back this Sunday from 9am–4pm, with 3 FREE rounds of golf up for grabs for the winner. ⛳🏆

Here's how it works:
✅ Play a round at Bero
✅ Register at the front desk before you tee off
✅ Head to the designated Par 3 hole
✅ If your shot lands closer than the current leader, add your name to the board and move the marker

The golfer still holding top spot at 4pm takes home the prize.

Oh, and it happens to be Father's Day too! So if you're looking for an excuse to bring Dad, the kids or the whole family along, we've made it pretty easy. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

🌱 Two More Greens Underway!

We’re excited to share that our future 4th and 6th greens have now been fully prepared and seeded as of 25 August, marking another step in bringing Beresfield Golf Course back to life.

For this stage, we’ve used a mixed blend of Poa trivialis and Paspalum Seashore.
We previously trialled Paspalum Seashore in late February, however the hydroseeding process was unsuccessful. This time, combining the two grass species gives us the best opportunity for successful establishment.

🌱 Poa trivialis is a cool-season grass that will germinate quickly in current conditions, providing early coverage and growth.

☀️ Paspalum Seashore is a warm-season grass that will begin germinating as soil temperatures rise over the next 1-2 months, delivering long-term growth into the warmer months.

As with all newly seeded greens, please keep completely clear while germination and establishment take place:
🚫 No golf carts
🚫 No pedestrian traffic
🚫 No golf play

Protecting these greens during these early stages is critical. The less disturbance they receive, the quicker and more successfully they will establish.

Thanks again for your patience, understanding and support as this long-term project continues. There’s still plenty of work ahead, but step by step, we’re bringing Bero back to life! 💚⛳️

💔 This one hurts.
Our new practice green has been vandalised overnight, with someone riding over it multiple times on a bike or scooter and causing extensive damage to the turf.

The practice green will now need significant repairs and will be closed for approximately 4 weeks.

We're extremely disappointed. A lot of hard work has gone into bringing Bero back to life, and setbacks like this impact everyone who enjoys using the course.

We know our community cares deeply about Bero, and we appreciate your understanding while we repair the damage.

We'll keep you updated on its recovery and let you know when it's ready for putts, not tyre tracks. ⛳💚

⛳ Practice Green Now Open! ⛳

Great news, Bero golfers... our practice green is officially open! 🙌

It's still a little bumpy at the moment as we're waiting on our greens roller to arrive, but the good news is it's only going to keep getting better from here. 💚
We're also excited to share that our new 3rd green will open for play from Tuesday next week.

As we've mentioned in previous updates, we'll be heading to Pennant Hills next Thursday (06/08/26) to collect turf. Over the following week or two, we'll be patching and improving the remaining greens, which should make a noticeable difference across the course.

Thanks for sticking with us as we continue bringing Bero back to life. We really appreciate your patience and support, and we can't wait to see you out there enjoying the improvements! ⛳
