Feeling so grateful for the beautiful people I get to meet through my dance studio. 💛

Today, one of our amazing dance mums (who also attends my Mums & Bubs class) surprised me with the sweetest gift. She remembered a conversation we had about how I only got into reading this year and the types of books I’ve been enjoying, and today she turned up with FIVE books for me! 📚✨

I was completely blown away by her thoughtfulness. It’s little moments like these that remind me that our studio is so much more than a place to dance—it’s a community filled with genuinely caring, kind-hearted people.

Things you don’t see going on behind the scenes as a SOLO dance studio owner & teacher… 😂💃

When people ask, “Are you ready for the end-of-year concert?”

Me: “Absolutely!”
Also me: has 87 tabs open in my brain 🤯

🎵 Cutting music
📋 Sorting the concert order… then changing it… then changing it again
👗 Picking costumes
🎬 Organising visuals
💃 Choreographing
📱 Answering messages
📧 Emails
📝 Lesson planning
🎤 Concert planning
🧠 Remembering approximately 4,762 things at once

Oh, and teaching all the classes too. 😂

There’s no “I’ll just get the costume person to sort that” or “Let me ask the admin team.”

The admin team is me.
The choreographer is me.
The costume department is me.
The IT department is unfortunately also me. 😂

Basically, if something is happening at the studio… chances are I’m somewhere behind it making it happen with a coffee in one hand and a to-do list in the other. ☕️🤣

It’s chaotic, it’s exhausting, and I absolutely love it. ❤️

Now… back to that concert order I was definitely finished with. 👀😂
