Rach's Jiu Jitsu is different to mine. Not better. Not worse. Different. How good is it when our culture not only accepts, but embraces, having our amazing female black belt sharing her secrets. As the only black belt female actively coaching on the Central Coast for the past 10 years, and one of two ladies in the first ever black belt ladies match on the coast, the impact she has had on the Jiu Jitsu landscape is immeasurable.

I loved learning from her tonight, and I love sharing coaching responsibilities with her. We aren't a cult of personality. We are a community. With 12 black belts, come 12 different perspectives. We'd be mad not to share those.
