🚨 BIG NEWS FOR JUNIOR SOFTBALL IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA! 🚨

The Softball SA Board has made a landmark decision that will help shape the future of junior softball across our state.

🏆 Junior Championships will now be held permanently on the October Long Weekend, beginning this year in Adelaide from 3–5 October 2026.

This change has been made with players, families, associations, and volunteers in mind, creating a more accessible, affordable, and exciting championship experience for everyone involved.

Riverland Softball Association with heavy hearts, want to send our deepest and sincerest condolences to Brenton and Robbie and family as news of the passing of long time softball player, coach, supporter SANDY SCARBOROUGH.
She was a lovely woman and supportive of softball for many years, even keeping up with it to the present years through others and supporting upcoming players.

She will be missed by many, and memories will be forever etched in those that knew her.

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Riverland General Hospital on Tuesday, 31st March, 2026.
Aged 81 years.
Loved daughter of Norman and Eunice (both dec’d)
Loved and loving Mum of Robert and Brenton, and mother-in-law to Laura and Bradley.
Loving Nanna of Archer.
Loving sister to Brian (dec), Kevin (dec), Beverley (dec), Trevor (dec), Micky, Midge.

The family and friends of Sandra Scarborough are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service to be conducted entirely at the graveside in the Berri Lawn Cemetery, RL Gambling Rd., Berri, on Friday 10th April, 2026, at 11.00am.
In lieu of flowers if desired, a donation to Royal Flying Doctor Service in Sandra’s memory would be appreciated. Donations may be made at the service.
