A lovely afternoon spent at the Comdance Convention! Jordi Delphine received the Outstanding Student Examiners Award from Mrs Murray for her Jazz and Contemporary Exams! Our Major Ballet students were presented with their certificates onstage and Ella was presented with her Teachers Certificate for Theatrical Performing Arts. So proud of all of our dancers, both there and absent today. Great recognition of their hard work ❤️👏👏👏

Our 2026 Exam Session is over! 3 full days with two visiting examiners from Queensland, Mrs Gilby and Mrs Murray, with students completing examinations in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Theatrical Performing Arts!

Special mention to Miss Ella and Miss Talarni who entered for their Teaching Certificate in Theatrical Performing Arts. A comprehensive assessment of their knowledge of anatomy, music, syllabus work and choreography. Thank you to their student assistants on the day; Emilia, Georgia, Zara, Madi, Grace, Chloe, Ruby and Cailin ✨

Congratulations to our Grade 9 Tap; Grace, Coco, Charlotte, Abigael, Jasmyn and Elysha, for entering their final exam. A very challenging exam involving creating their own tap routine to perform 👏👏👏

And congratulations to Elysha and Charlotte for completing their Grade 9 Jazz exam, their final Jazz exam. A huge achievement 👏👏👏

We are so proud of every student who attempted exams in this session.

Our Exam Presentation Evening will be held on Friday 4th September at 7.30pm at SRSOD Studios ❤️

Exams started today at the studio and we’ve had a wonderful day! Some students did their first ever exam and some students did their last ❤️👏👏👏 it’s always such a pleasure to see them come out of the room proud of their exam experience. We can’t wait for Day 2 and 3!
