✅ Top 5 items to bring along to a swimming lessons

Getting ready for your child's swimming lesson? Here is a checklist of the top 5 essentials to make sure you have success!

1. Swimwear - Make sure you have some appropriate swimwear for your child to wear. We suggest chlorine resistant and where possible no rash tops as this restricts movement of strokes. If your child is not yet toilet trained, don't forget a waterproof nappy!

2. A snack and water bottle - Children often get hungry after swimming so make sure a snack is on hand to keep them energised. A drink bottle is also advised to stay hydrated, especially in summer when it is hot. If you leave it on the side of the pool they can sip on it during rest times if required.

3. Warm clothes - This is important in the cooler months for children to change before leaving so they don't get cold.

4. Towel - Don't forget a towel to dry off after lessons. A hair towel is also recommended for long hair when it is cold and wet outside.

5. Goggles - Make sure your child has a good fit goggle to wear for comfort. Take a look in our swim shop and ask our customer service officers for advice if required.

With these essentials your child will be ready to dive into their swimming lesson with confidence! 💦
