The Health and Fitness Centre at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre is currently closed until 18 October while refurbishment works take place.

During the closure, the space will receive new weights, cardio machines, strength equipment and more.

The refreshed Health and Fitness Centre will be showcased at a free Open Weekend on 24 and 25 October, with special group exercise classes running across both days.

Registration for the Open Weekend is essential and places are subject to availability.

The Health and Fitness Centre at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre is currently closed for refurbishment and will reopen after 18 October.

The closure is allowing upgrades to take place, including the installation of new weights, cardio machines and strength equipment.

The community can experience the refreshed space at a free Open Weekend on 24 and 25 October, featuring special group exercise classes across both days.

Aqua Aerobics at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre is a low impact exercise option suitable for all ages, abilities and fitness levels, including those rehabilitating from injury.

Classes are held Monday to Friday at 7.30am, alongside a diverse Group Fitness Timetable offering morning and evening classes throughout the week.

The Free Water Safety & CPR Awareness Program is coming to Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre, giving children aged 5 to 16 and their families the chance to learn essential water safety, CPR awareness and practical survival skills with qualified aquatic professionals.

Week 1
📅 Tuesday 29 September to Thursday 1 October
⏰ Session 1 from 10:30am to 12pm and Session 2 from 11:30am to 1pm
Week 2
📅 Tuesday 6 October to Thursday 8 October
