🏀 Who would've thought it's already been a week since Broome made history with the very first Festival of the Hoops – 3on3 Hoops in the Streets Basketball Competition!
Fong’s Store was alive with energy, the kids were flying high with dunks, and the soundtrack kept the vibe electric.
🔥 Off the court, the BBQ was sizzling and the race cars were tearing up the track.
For the first time ever, a pop-up street court brought the game to the heart of Broome — and the community showed up in full force.
A huge shout-out to Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation, Shire of Broome, Kimberley Development Commission, and the ultimate hosts, Fong’s Store, for making it all happen.
But.... most importantly, huge shout out to all the kids, parents and officials who came out to enjoy the day in the sun and stuck around until the evening came, thanks to you for making this event a reality....
