A bad game can last a lot longer than four quarters.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t even how you played.
It’s what you carry with you afterwards.
The frustration.
The overthinking.
Replaying everything you did wrong.
And if you don’t know how to deal with that properly, it can easily follow you into the next training session, the next game, and eventually become a cycle.
I spent years doing exactly that.
Learning how to actually respond after a bad performance was a massive part of becoming a more consistent player.
This clip is from The G.A.M.E. Plan, where I go much deeper into how to handle these moments and stop one bad game from becoming something bigger.
