Three of our students from our tournament squad competed at the ISKA Sydney City Open today.
• Alex, 1st in point sparring, runner up in team sparring.
• Ahmed, 1st in Sumo, runner up in point sparring.
• Xavier (first tornament ever) 2nd in Sumo, won his first bout in point sparring but lost in the next round.
A great effort, well done boys! 👏👏👏

Our tournament squad students train every Tuesday evening and are coached by our principal instructor Grand Master Andrew Sands.

This morning's focus was on kicking and sparring practice, as well as full syllabus. It is great to see our yellow belts going for the grabs now, and well done to our new white belt for her determination this morning. This was her very first time doing light sparring. 👏👏
