*🌿 Happy 15th Anniversary, Dhamma Yoga 🌿*
Fifteen years ago today, on 4 September 2011, DY began as a few yoga mats rolled up on the floor. It grew from one simple wish: to help people feel healthier, calmer, steadier β€” and more at home in themselves.

Since then we have shared asana, breath, meditation, philosophy, retreats and countless conversations. But underneath all of it has been one quiet truth: Yoga is not only something we do with the body. It is a way of seeing ourselves, and life, more clearly.

Our name says it.
*Dhamma*, in the Buddha’s teaching, is an invitation to look β€” not to believe. It asks: What is happening in me? Why? Can it change?
Yoga, shaped by the *Natha* traditions, reminds us that the path is not somewhere else. The body, the breath, our work, our relationships, our difficulties β€” all of it is the practice. Life itself is the field.

So: Dhamma asks us to understand. Yoga asks us to transform. Together they point to a freer, more awake way of living.
And Seva β€” service β€” has carried us the whole way. When time and knowledge are offered freely, a practice becomes a community.

To every teacher, volunteer, student, family and friend who has walked with us β€” thank you. Some have been here for many years, some for a single season. I have always seen Dhamma Yoga as a family where everyone is free to enter, free to leave, and always welcome to return. Whether you are still with us in body, or connected through friendship, memory or goodwill, you are part of this story. πŸ™

We have come far. There is much further to go. Our aspiration now is to reach many more people, on a much wider scale, with the same sincerity we started with.

The forms will change. The heart won’t:

*Practice. Inquiry. Awareness. Transformation.* *Community. Seva.*

πŸ’šπŸ§‘ Happy 15th Anniversary to the entire Dhamma Yoga family.

With gratitude πŸ™ 🧑🌿
