Dianne Martyn - Artist I do Paintings and Drawings in many mediums including acrylic, watercolour, charcoal, pastel, ink and pencil. All of my art works are for sale.

Art is my passion and I am available to do commission works. Please send me a PM if interested. I am a self-taught Artist with no formal training. I have always dabbled in mediums of all types, but my biggest passion is to draw and paint. My gift has been developed over many years, through hours of tuition with very high-level artist mentors. Art gives me a sense of purpose with the feeling of freedom and escape from real life pressures.

Playing with pastel...

I lost my dad in 2018 and it was totally devastating. I still miss him every day. I have wanted to do his portrait for so long, but it has never felt like the right timing until now.

I feel like I have captured his character and larger than life essence from a photo I took of him when holidaying together at Lawn Gill. He would never go anywhere without his cap and the quirky attached light piece. I guess it was great for the underground tour at Mount Isa.
