Today we celebrate the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures and mentors who play such an important role in our Brothers family.

The ones who drive to training, stand on the sidelines, carry the gear, volunteer, coach, encourage, console and celebrate.

The ones who teach our players that rugby is about far more than what happens on the field. It’s about respect, resilience, mateship, commitment and being there for one another.

Some pull on the boots. Some hold the tackle bags. Some run the BBQ. Some simply stand on the sideline every weekend and never miss a game.

Whatever your role, thank you for being part of the journey.

2026 SUNSHINE COAST RUGBY UNION RESERVE GRADE PREMIERS! 🔵⚪️🔵

Four years ago, Brothers entered Reserve and A Grade teams into the Sunshine Coast Senior competition for the first time.
Today, the Reggies became Premiers, securing the first senior Grand Final victory in the history of Brothers Rugby Sunshine Coast! 🏆🔥
Led brilliantly by Captain Joseph VanBuskirk and Vice Captain Riley Collins, the boys delivered when it mattered most.
And what a day for Joseph VanBuskirk and Levi Trivett, celebrating their 50th senior games for Brothers with a Grand Final victory! 🔵⚪️🔵
The 2026 motto was simple:
ANYONE. ANYTIME. ANYWHERE.
They believed. They delivered. They made history.
“The scoreboard says premiers. The journey says underdogs. The brotherhood says everything.” Said Captain Joseph VanBuskirk.

There were plenty of people who doubted a Brothers Senior Club would be a success. But Brothers never stopped believing.

Under the guidance of coaches Tim Burgess, Kyran Tanuvasa, Shane Buckley, Tom Chamberlain and Ryan Frisby, and Team Manager Aaron Morris, the team went from strength to strength throughout the season, building belief, building confidence and most importantly, building a brotherhood.

Senior Vice President Carissa Brogden summed it up perfectly:
“We have a fantastic club culture and it’s a real credit to the coaching team, the players, the whole club that the boys were able to achieve this win today.”

FIJI TOUR 2026 — GIVING BACK 🇫🇯🤍

Our Brothers Rugby Sunshine Coast Girls 7’s Fiji Tour is about so much more than rugby.

While we’re there, we would love the opportunity to give back to the local villages and communities welcoming our girls—not only through what we bring, but through the connection, gratitude and kindness we leave behind.

We’re currently collecting the following priority items:

• New children’s underwear and socks
• Toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Sanitary pads and tampons
• Soap and body wash
• Deodorant
• Reusable drink bottles
• Footy or soccer boots—new or in very good condition

We also welcome other practical donations, including children’s clothing, footwear, baby and toddler essentials, hygiene products and sporting equipment.

Every contribution—big or small—will help our girls leave something meaningful behind.

For the first time in Brothers Rugby Sunshine Coast history, a Senior Men’s team will run out in a Grand Final.

Four years of building. Four years of belief. Four years of players, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters helping establish our senior program and push it forward.

Now our Reserve Grade boys have earned their opportunity.

Standing between them and a piece of Brothers history is a strong USC side and we know this one will take everything.

But they won’t be doing it alone. We want the BLUE WALL at Maroochydore. Juniors. Seniors. Women. Cricks. Past players. Families. Supporters. Everyone who calls Brothers home. Pull on the Butcher Stripes, bring the noise and get behind these boys for one massive 80 minutes.
