GOLF RESULTS.

We had very good fields to enjoy beautiful over the weekend.

Saturday was a Stroke for the Monthly Medal.

We had some good scores recorded and also not so good.

Pepper Thompson won on a c/b from son Neil on 66 Nett.

Herbie Elliott was one shot behind on 67 Nett. Tony Baldwin

also had a good day with 70 Nett and Brendan Weston & Shannon

Gulliford came in on 71 Nett. Balls were won by these chaps.

NTP went to Darren Forrester. Golden Shot. Shane Michelutti.

Sunday was a Stableford for Club Trophy.

Tony Baldwin was very happy with himself having a great round of

42 pts. Winning the event for the day. Tony was closely followed by

Matt Green and Pepper Thompson both on 41 pts, Ray Crawford 39 pts,

Brad Yelds 38 pts and Merv Douch 38 pts and Neil Thompson on a c/b

from Brendan Weston 37 pts. They were the ball winners.

NTP was not won. Golden Shot won by Cary Elton.

GOLF RESULTS.

What a great weather for the weekend following a freezing cold day on Friday.

We had good fields over the weekend enjoying the conditions.

Saturday the Event was a Stableford for Club Trophy.

Ray Crawford came in the winner with 35 pts closely followed by Darren Forrester and Shannon Gulliford 34 pts. They were the ball winners.

NTP and Golden Shot won by Neil Thompson.

Sunday was a Stableford for Club Trophy. Ind. Acc.

Well what a weekend Ray Crawford had coming in again the winner with the good round of 37 pts. Believe he was hitting the ball very sweet.

(Might need to check your handicap Ray).

Once again Darren Forrester was the bridesmaid 35 pts and Herbie Elliott also on 35 pts. Good to see Herbie back on the course after a long break with health problems. Balls went to these chaps.

NTP won by Korie Elton. Golden Shot went to Steve Tatham.

GOLF RESULTS.

Following huge frosts that looked like snow we had beautiful days for golf with good numbers both days.

Saturday was a 2 Man Ambrose. The winners were Pepper Thompson & Brad Yelds 60 ¾ Nett from Shannon Gulliford & Darren Forrester 61 ½ Nett.
Golden Shot won by Darren Forrester. NTP went to Pepper Thompson.

Sunday the event was a Stroke for the Monthly Medal.

Considering so many players complain when there is a stroke it did not turn them off.

Wayne Elton certainly found his form coming in with a great round of 67 Nett.

Good round Rub you should be happy with that.

Shannon Gulliford also returned a good result with 70 Nett from Pepper Thomspon 71 Nett and Korie Elton 72 Nett on c/b.

NTP won by Simon Stephen. Golden Shot won by Wayne Elton.

GOLF RESULTS.

Well it was a weekend of hit the ball out of sight with the thick fog lasting until lunch time and it was freezing cold.

Saturday was a Stableford for Club Trophy.

There were a couple of good scores in with Neil Thompson winning on a c/b from Oscar Gough 37 pts.

Ball won by Neil, Oscar, Ray Crawford 34 pts and Wayne Elton 34 pts.

NTP and the Golden Shot both went to Wayne Elton.

Sunday the decision was made to have a fun day with a couple of our players
celebrating birthdays. An Ambrose was the event choosing partners.

The Birthday boys were too good for the field. Daniel Douch celebrating his 30th and Brad Yelds wishing he was still 30 were the winners on 61 ½ Nett

from Brendan Weston, Ray Crawford & Wayne Elton 62 1/3 Nett.

NTP won by Steve Tatham. Wayne Elton again was the winner of the golden shot.

JEAN MCLEAN’s FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE LIVE STREAMED AT THE GOLF CLUB ON THURSDAY MORNING AT 11:00am ON THURSDAY THE 25th of JUNE

Monday members and friends were shocked and saddened to receive word of the passing of Jean McLean.

Jean passed away peacefully having a nap in her “paradise” in her “own way” years young. Jean got her wish, she always said she wasn’t leaving her home unless it was in a box.

For many years Jean’s eye sight deteriorated, but she could still hit that little white ball and her putting was outstanding. Jean looked forward to Wednesdays when her drivers would drive her up from Chandlers Creek for her golf.

She was frustrated that she couldn’t read her books and had trouble doing her crosswords.

You will be greatly missed Jean but you are now with your beloved John.

Our sincere Sympathy to her family and her carers. RIP Jean.

Jeans service will be lived streamed on Thursday 25.6.26 at 11 a.m.

If you wish to farewell Jean, will be screening it at the Golf Club.

It was pleasing to see good fields over the long weekend enjoying the pleasant weather.

Saturday 6.6.26 members played a Stroke for the Monthly Medal.

The winner was Merv Douch 72 Nett.

Ball winners Merv, Brendan Weston 74 Nett on c/b from Pepper

Thompson.

Golden Shot. Brendan Weston. NTP on the 17th Wayne Elton.

Sunday was a Stableford for Club Trophy.

Ray Crawford had a good round winning 37 pts.

Ball Winners Ray, Tony Baldwin 36 pts., Darren Forrester 34 pts.,

Neil Thompson 33 pts.

Match Play. Wayne Elton defeated Joel Cherry 4 & 2.

Nick Ryan defeated Pepper Thompson 4 & 2.

Merv Douch defeated Korie Elton on the 19th.

Monday 8.6.26. The Event was a Stableford for Club Trophy.

The winner on a c/b was Pepper Thomspon 36 pts from Ray Crawford.

Balls went to Pepper, Ray, Darren Forrester 35 pt and Merv Douch on

a c/b from Steve Tatham 34 pts.

Golden Shot went to Tony Baldwin. NTP on the 17th was not won.

Saturday 13.6.26 was a Par for Club Trophy.

Merv Douch kept up the good golf to come in the winner on + 2 from

Brendan Weston – 1 and Neil Thompson - 2 on a 4 way c/b.

Golden Shot was won by Neil Thompson. NTP won by Ray Crawford

Sunday 14.6.26 the Event was a Stableford for Club Trophy.

Well for someone who continually whines that he can’t compete with

other players is proving it is a case of whinge and win.

Merv Douch came in the winner again with the good score of 37 pts.

from Ray Crawford & Darren Forrester 35 pts. and Brendan Weston on a

4 way c/b 33 pts.

NTP won by Wayne Elton. Golden Shot went to Ray Crawford who carried on

that he had duffed the shot.

There is a planned Burn off at the Golf Club this Wednesday 3:30pm. There will be significant smoke but we appreciate your understanding with this necessary controlled burn.
There will be a fire truck on hand plus additional support crews.
