😴 SLEEP 💤
Who can honestly say they have good sleep? Or that they sleep well?
Most of us don’t - and whilst it may not seem like a big issue now, it can lead to high levels of stress, anxiety, poor food choices which over time can increase risk of heart disease, obesity and type 2 diabetes.
So how can I get more or better sleep?
🛌 Turn off electronic devices early - at least 20-30 mins before bed
🛌 Try 5 mins of meditation or breathing exercises to relax your cardiovascular system and body
🛌 Avoid stimulants such a coffee, soft drinks, alcohol before bed
🛌 Try a few drops of lavender oil on your pillow
🛌 Exercise - no, not just before sleep but in the morning or during the day
Potato, spud, tater, mash, yam…the list goes on! 🥔
Arguably the most versatile and loved vegetable by many (myself included). I never met a spud a didn’t love 😂
Here’s a reminder - eat your potatoes. Yes they are a “carb”, but they are a yummy, delish, healthy carb which will help keep you full and happy 😆

This isn’t a challenge with anyone other than yourself. It’s a chance to give back to you. It’s a chance to reconnect. A chance to rebuild. Cause heck, these last 3 months have been a challenge on almost every level.

Lockdown sucks. We’re all over it. I just want to see my friends and family. Yes, we have FaceTime but I want to celebrate birthdays, give hugs, tell them face to face just how much they mean. ❤️
During these already difficult times, don’t be too hard on yourself.
