🏃‍♀️💙 Client Achievement Spotlight 💙🏃‍♀️
At just 9 years old, Mushka recently completed the ASISSA Cross Country 1.8km race in an incredible 13 minutes!
For many, that’s an impressive result. For Mushka, it’s even more remarkable.
Born with a lower limb disability, Mushka faces challenges every day that most people never see. She often pushes through pain and works hard to overcome balance difficulties.
Over the past few months, Mushka has been training with Sean, focusing on building her endurance, strength, and running confidence. Every kilometre, every training session, and every small improvement has been earned through persistence, hard work, and determination.
Watching Mushka cross that finish line was a special moment. Not because of the time on the clock, but because of the journey behind it—the setbacks, the discomfort, the effort, and the courage it takes to keep chasing your goals.
We are so proud of you, Mushka. Your determination reminds us that true achievement isn’t measured by what stands in your way, but by your willingness to keep moving forward despite it. 💙

Congratulations to Talya on being named our Client of the Week! 👏
Over the past few months, Talya has been incredibly consistent with her training and the results have been outstanding. Her strength has improved massively, her pain levels have reduced, and she’s moving with far more confidence both in and out of the gym.
One of the most important things about Talya’s journey is the work she’s put into building strength. Strength training is especially important as we get older because it helps maintain muscle mass, supports healthy joints and bones, improves balance, and makes everyday activities easier. It’s not just about lifting weights—it’s about improving quality of life, staying independent, feeling capable, and doing the things you love for longer. Talya has embraced that process and the benefits are clear to see.
Not only has she become stronger, but she looks absolutely amazing. Her hard work, dedication, and commitment to the process have really paid off, and it’s fantastic to see the confidence that comes with those results.
As a grandmother, having the strength and energy to enjoy time with family is priceless, and it’s been brilliant watching Talya achieve exactly that.
Well done, Talya! We’re proud of everything you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next.

CLIENT OF THE WEEK 💥
Chris Condon
Some people need motivation to train… Chris needs motivation to stop training harder every week 😂
Since walking through the doors at Empower a year ago while recovering from a broken arm, Chris has built himself into one of the most consistent members in the gym. Rain, hail or shine, you’ll find him here 3 times a week chasing bigger numbers and finding another gear every session.
The scary part is he’s nowhere near satisfied. Every week the weights go up, the strength improves, and somehow he’s already planning the next PB before the current session is finished. I’ve even had messages from Chris saying he can’t sleep because he’s thinking about hitting a new bench press PB the next day 🤣
What makes it even better is the attitude he brings with him. Always upbeat, always having a laugh, and always happy to chat with everyone in the gym.
Proof that even if the Dragons can’t get a win this season, at least one Dragons supporter is still dominating somewhere 💪🐉
Awesome work mate — very deserved.

CLIENT OF THE WEEK 🌟
This week we’re celebrating Sally 👏
No matter how busy life gets with shift work, Sally always prioritises her training and plans her schedule in advance to make it happen. Her consistency and discipline never go unnoticed.

She pushes herself every single session without complaining, lifts heavy, and is always ready to increase the weight without hesitation 💪

Not only is Sally incredibly dedicated, but she’s also one of the warmest people in the gym — always smiling, arriving early to warm up, and bringing great energy to every session.

Safe to say everyone loves having Sally around 😂

We’re so proud of the effort and attitude you bring each week, Sally. Keep smashing it! 🔥

🔥 EMPOWER CLIENT OF THE WEEK – HOWARD 🔥

Big shoutout to our man Howard for taking out this week’s Empower Client of the Week! 💪

Howard brings the energy every single session – not just with his training, but with his attitude. He’s been putting in the work around his injuries, staying consistent, and most importantly… never skipping his mobility exercises before sessions (we love to see it 👏).

He’s also known around the clinic as a bit of a ladies man 😏 and keeps everyone entertained with his top-tier banter with the boys. Training hard and keeping the vibes high – that’s what we’re all about.

Empower Client of the Week goes to Richard for his outstanding commitment and consistency. Richard has achieved an incredible 20kg weight loss through hard work, discipline, and staying focused on his goals. He has built a strong exercise routine, regularly running twice a week and playing tennis to stay active and fit. On top of that, Richard has successfully overcome a shoulder injury by committing to his rehab program and staying patient throughout the process. His dedication and resilience have been inspiring, and we’re proud to celebrate his progress this week.

It’s been so rewarding for our team to be part of her journey and see her progress unfold. Client of the Week 🌟 ELIZABETH Upgrading from one session a week to two—and she hasn’t missed a beat. Elizabeth shows up and gets it done every time.💪

She doesn’t stop there… cardio after every session (no shortcuts here 😅) and she’s even bringing the creativity into her nutrition. Home-made protein ice cream has become a regular favourite with her trainer Matty !🍦

The payoff? Strength gains across the board and 3kg down.👏

Empower Client of the Week Basilia Scott has lost over 16kg through consistency and hard work. She’s stronger, fitter, and attacks every session with confidence. Six months ago she was terrified to do TRX rows and scared to lean back — now she gets straight into them without hesitation. Basilia brings a consistently positive attitude to every session and is always a pleasure to train.
