May You Rest In Peace Dearest Yaakov 🤍
I am still lost for words.
When I messaged Yaakov on Sunday evening to check in that he & his beautiful family were safe, I never expected the unimaginable to unfold💔💔💔
I feel honoured to have known such a kind, giving, loving, peaceful soul.
Knowing his family & having his 4 wonderful children be part of my swim school for many years has bought much joy week to week.
Their smiles were missed last night beyond words.
My heart breaks & I am saddened to the core for his family & loved ones as to all the other victims.
I have said countless times before that the one thing I love most about having a Swim School / running a business in Bondi, is without doubt the community connection that it brings.
The horrendous & senseless tragedy that occurred on Sunday at the Chanukah celebration has highlighted how vital that community connection amongst us ALL is.
Now more than ever we need to come together, wrap our arms around one another & show support - particularly to the Jewish community.
May his memory forever be a blessing & may light overcome the darkness ✡️🕎☮️🤍🤍🤍
