🎨🖌 Our Art Wall has had a fresh injection of colour and creativity with a selection of works from the recent Next Generation Art Prize now on display at the Club! Featuring talented young artists aged from just 10 to 18 years old, our mini exhibition showcases an exciting mix of paintings, photographs and drawings. Several works on display won prizes in their age category awards and it really highlights the incredible talent of our local artists.

And look out for Resting Kookaburra, painted by 17-year-old Lavender Trabelsi, which so impressed visitors she took home the People’s Choice Award.

🎨🏆 THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN! 🏆🎨
Congratulations to 17-year-old Lavender Trabelsi, whose stunning artwork Resting Kookaburra has won the People’s Choice Award at this year’s Next Generation Art Prize! This is the second time Lavender's artwork has won the People's Choice Award and it's clear her work strikes a chord with art lovers.

We’re incredibly proud to once again support the Next Generation Art Prize and help celebrate the creativity, talent and imagination of our next generation of artists. 🌟 Lavender's work will be on display in the Club over the next few weeks as well as a number of other Next Gen entries 😍

🚩 It was a packed house on Sunday with so many supporters on hand to cheer on our Bribie teams at the Moreton Bay District Pennants Finals. And our guys certainly didn't disappoint winning FOUR Grand Finals. Congratulations to winners Div 3,4,5 and 8. And Div 7 - after 42 ends, the scores were locked together, forcing an extra end to decide the winner. It doesn’t get much closer than that! A fantastic effort from the team.

Truly an absolutely brilliant performance by the Club and we should all be very proud of our efforts. Thank you to our players, managers and everyone who got behind our teams throughout the season!

🏆PENNANT FINALS UPDATE - Some great results for Bribie at today's Pennants Semi Finals at Aspley. Divisions 3,5,7 and 8 have won through to the Grand Finals which will be held tomorrow at Bribie.

Tomorrow morning will see Divs 4 and 8 play, while Divs 3,5 and 7 will play in the afternoon.

🦃🦃🦃 Another successful LJ Ho**er Bribie Island Turkey Triples Tournament and the last one for the year! Being the last one there were more prizes and our volunteers very kindly cooked bacon and egg rolls for everyone. Plus, all players received a free raffle ticket and the prize was a TURKEY! (Won by Helen Kaatz) It was such a terrific turnout on Sunday that entrants had to play on the third green!

🏆 Congratulations to our Bribie ladies who were victorious in the Club 9-A-Side Challenge at Chermside on Friday. A fantastic effort with the team winning all six games! This tremendous team consisted of Megan Garfield, Lynny Beaven, Deb Bishop, Desley McDougall, Evelyn Stacey, Karen Perkins, Janet Gray, Mandy McIntyre and Alana Sharp. Another fantastic addition to the trophy cabinet! 🏆
