CLUB NEWS

JUNIOR & WOMEN'S CLINICS:
Monday the 28th September we will be hosting a Juniors & Women's Clinic. See flyer below for more information.

WOMENS:
Tomorrow the women are playing a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by The Womens Sub Committee. This is the next Invitational Day.
Thursday the 17th the Women are having their Open Day. They have a full field. No Social play will be available until they have finished play around 1.30pm.

SPORTERS:
The Sporter's will be playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, kindly sponsored by M Wyvill & P Eggenhuizen.
THURSDAY:
No lunches will be available as we are hosting the Womens Open Day.

This Saturday we are playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition, kindly sponsored by FIS Insurance.
S Edwards' name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Steve was at presentation so it will revert back to $20 this week.
Saturday there is a silent action for the carts we are selling.

SUNDAY:
This week we have the Peak Crossing School having a fund raising event. No Social play will be available until they have finished their rounds.
MENS MATCH PLAY:
The winner of the match play is Will Bentley.

WOMENS MATCH PLAY:
The Women's Match Play Final is between Janet Wilson & Sam Savery on the 16th September.

Today we played the Fassifern Bushrangers Open Day, playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. Thanks to all the Bushrangers who helped in any way. The A Grade winner was B Freiberg with 38 pts, runner up was B Lawrance 37 pts, followed by M Wyvill with 36 pts. B Grade winner was I Pocock with 39 pts, runner up was G Tipping ocb from R Lawrie with 37 pts. C Grade and monthly mug winner was P Willett with 44 pts, runner up was W Hill 40 pts, followed by M Jackwitz with 38 pts. The women’s winner and monthly mug winner was S Savery with 40 pts, runner up was S Reid with 38 pts. The Social winner was D Wilson ocb from runner up D Bell with 73 net. The run down went to 33 pts.
S Edwards’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Steve was at presentation so it will revert back to $20 next week.

THURSDAY:
We have Richard Darvalls' wake. Richard has been a supporter of the club for years and sponsors the Darvall Cup. We offer our Condolences to the Family. Richard will be missed by all.

This week we have a social group in the morning with the Greg Newman Memorial in the afternoon-There is no Social Play Available.

MONDAY:
Monday the 14th we are hosting the Oxley Vets. No lunches will be available today.

Today we played a single stroke monthly medal competition kindly sponsored by Brazzen Rural Scenic Rim. Thanks for your continued support. The winner and men’s monthly medal winner was S Lutter with 67 net ocb from runner up G Parker followed by S Reid women’s monthly medal winner ocb from L Gordon, I Pocock & D Wall with 68 net and M Dickson with 69 net ocb. The rundown went to 75 net.
The putting competition went to G Parker with 21 putts.
D Forsyth’s name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Dick wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot again next week.
