A very big thank you to Coaches Jason and Peta for the countless hours of preparation, guidance and support that go into getting our swimmers ready to compete at this level.

And to our parents, families and volunteers — thank you for everything that happens behind the scenes to get our swimmers to training, onto the blocks and through a big championship meet.

Most of all, congratulations to all our swimmers. The PBs and medals are fantastic, but we were equally proud of the sportsmanship, encouragement and team spirit shown throughout the meet.

And now we hand the baton over to our Junior Championship swimmers.

Many of our juniors have been following the results and cheering on their teammates over the past few days. This is where many of you are heading next year. Take some inspiration from what you've seen, trust the work you've done and get ready for your opportunity to race.

NO TOs. NO MEET.

A swim meet simply doesn’t happen without the incredible team of Technical Officials working behind the scenes and on pool deck.

A huge THANK YOU to all the TOs who supported the 2026 Maskill’s Mechanical South Shore Super Sprint. From the first race to the last, your time, expertise and professionalism ensured our swimmers could race fairly and confidently.

We were incredibly proud to have Revive Dental and Perth Dental Implant Centre supporting this important team as our Technical Official Sponsors.

Based locally in Applecross, their experienced team provides comprehensive dental care for the whole family—from general and cosmetic dentistry to advanced dental implants and surgical treatments. Their support of the Super Sprint is another wonderful example of a local business getting behind its community.

Revive Dental and Perth Dental Implant Centre, thank you for backing our Technical Officials and helping us deliver a fantastic day of racing for more than 600 swimmers.

And to every TO who gave their time to our meet—we see you, we appreciate you and we couldn’t have done it without you. 👏

Please support the businesses that support our Club. ❤️🖤💛

"I'm one of the newbies on the team! I've still got my L-Plates on"

Claire’s South Shore journey started as a parent, helping with the simple jobs — timekeeping, results running and marshalling — before gradually trying new things as her confidence grew.

For Claire, volunteering is about connection — knowing the families, sharing the kids’ successes, being part of a team and showing her own children what it looks like to contribute to your community.

One of her favourite moments was Club Prems this year. "As a Team Marshal, I had one of the best seats in the house — right on pool deck — watching South Shore come together as one team. Coaches. Swimmers. Parents. The excitement and smiles on the kids faces was the best."

Her message to anyone who is unsure on how they can help?

"Start small. Try one job. Everyone has skills they can bring. And before you know it, you’ve found your people and a great sense of belonging ❤️💛🖤"

For the past 9 years, Harry has quietly contributed countless hours to South Shore, helping make sure our Club Nights, swim meets and Super Sprint happen — and happen well!

What started with simply answering a call-out for help has grown into years of service, learning, problem-solving and being part of something Harry describes as “uniquely special.”

Perhaps the best part of Harry’s story is that he didn’t come from a swimming background. He brought the skills he had, learnt the rest along the way, and stepped up where the Club needed him.

As Harry says:

“Try it, surprise yourself. Before you know it, it becomes part of your routine.”

You don’t need swimming experience.
You don’t need to know how everything works.
You don’t need to commit to everything.

Sometimes volunteering starts with simply saying “I can help.”

Harry, thank you for your incredible contribution to South Shore — for the hours behind the computer, the meets, the Super Sprints, and especially for the calm willingness to keep showing up and serving our Club.

Could Harry’s story be your call to action👋
Come and say hello, lend a hand at a meet or ask us how you can get involved.

❤️💛🖤 Thank you, Harry.
