Squatting and hinging are two of the most important and irreplaceable of the seven functional primal patterns (squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and gait).
Both involve the hip but in very different ways.
Squatting differs from hinging in this way; when you squat the hips and knees flex simultaneously to lower your center of gravity.
When you hinge only the hip flexes (the knee bends minimally but does not move forward)

Did you know we train barefoot?
The foot is the bodyโs connection to the world. It is the interface and is covered with 200,000 plus nerve endings.
What happens in your feet is instantly relayed to every other part of your body.
If your footing is unstable or weak how can you expect to be strong throughout the rest of their body?
The more stable the foot is the stronger a person will be as all over strength begins at the feet.
The better a person can feel the ground and connect to it the easier they will find a stable base to move and push off from.
