2026 Oceania Athletics Championships – Mitchell Warrilow
What an incredible performance from Mitchell Warrilow at the 2026 Oceania Athletics Championships held in Darwin in May! He kicked things off with a SILVER medal in the Men’s 200m Ambulant, then powered through to claim GOLD in the Men’s 400m Ambulant and the very next day GOLD again in the Men’s 800m Ambulant!
With percentages consistently in the mid to high 90s, the future is looking incredibly bright for international representation for this young 15 year old.
Athletics Australia said it best: “Mitchell Warrilow (WA, Lenny Hughes, T38) was a dominant winner in the men’s event – clocking 51.47-seconds for a score of 95.84 to stamp his presence as a name of the future”.
So exciting to see what’s ahead for Mitchell!
