Thunder on the Downs Night 1

Qualified with a miss. The team worked hard to fix the issue and managed to move from 9th to 4th in heat race.

Faded late in the main with a brake issue and ended up 12th.

Overall a solid recovery and ready to go again tonight.

Thanks again to the whole crew.

TOP 5 RESULT TO CAP OFF A SOLID CHARIOTS OF THUNDER SERIES

Happy to finish off our week here in Darwin with another Top 5 Result in the A Main along with 7th overall in the series even with 2 Feature DNFs.

We felt like we were inside the Top 5 nearly all week and hoping to build on this very strong start to the season. We canโ€™t thank Cody, Mark and BC for their work all week. Along with Tunksy and Scary for their help in prepping us to go on the road.

The truck leaves today and will head straight to Toowoomba, ready for Thunder on the Downs next Friday.

A solid bounce back from the team after a massive effort overnight getting our backup car ready to race.

We had good speed throughout the night and put ourselves in a strong position for the A-Main.

Whilst running 5th, Mick made contact with the fence, damaging the rear end and unfortunately bringing our race to an early end.

Thankfully, the damage is minimal and weโ€™re all set to go again tonight for the ๐—™๐—œ๐—ก๐—”๐—Ÿ ๐—ก๐—œ๐—š๐—›๐—ง of Chariots of Thunder here in Darwin.

A huge thanks to the entire team for their efforts. Another big turnaround and weโ€™re ready to have one more crack at it tonight.

Not the way we wanted to end Night 1 of the Chariots of Thunder here in Darwin.

Massive thanks to Cody, Mark and BC for all their efforts last night. The team finished up at 5am this morning building our back up car.

Overall very pleased with the speed we have and hoping to put it all together to come home with a trophy.

A solid night at Northline Speedway last night, bringing home P5 in the Northern Territory Sprintcar Title.

Very solid night overall for the team. We feel like weโ€™re slowly getting there and are happy to bank another great result.

DEFEND THE TOP END RESULTS

NIGHT 1 - Northline Speedway

Qualifying: 9th
Heat 3: DNF whilst leading due to a broken spark plug
B Main: 1st
A Main: 11th

Solid first night back for season 2026/2027.
After starting the main 17th we made our way upto 7th with 2 laps to go before a brake issue hindered our progress.

We are back at it tonight for the Northern Territory Sprintcar Title.
