MAJOR SIGNING | TAINE BARLOW
Boronia Hawks are thrilled to announce the signing of experienced VFL defender TAINE BARLOW.
The 193cm defender joins the Hawks after six seasons and 89 VFL games with the Frankston Dolphins.
Taine’s impressive football resume includes winning Frankston’s Rookie Award in 2021, being named Team Player of the Year in 2024 and finishing runner-up in the 2025 Peter Geddes Medal.
He was also selected in the 2025 VFL Team of the Year squad and the 2026 VFL state squad, while his leadership and standing within Frankston were recognised when he was appointed vice-captain for the 2026 season.
Taine’s leadership and VFL experience will be enormous additions to our playing group.
