Herewith another example of the history of the club and the people that help shape this great club. Up until very recently we had no prior knowledge of Ron McIntyre that was until his niece, Carol Smith, reached out and has provided us some information about Rons journey through WW2.
We also have a copy of the 1941 Annual Report which will also be displayed on our page.

Well that's a wrap on another past players and officials luncheon. Largest attendance numbers seen and with the announcement of the team of the century so many stories shared.
Old acquaintances renewed and many attended for the first time. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this a very memorable day.

Dear members, In consultation with our committee we have made the unfortunate decision to cancel the golf day in September.

We shall however welcome you all at our annual luncheon on Friday 28th November.

Let's go golfing! The annual golf day is on again at Keysborough Golf Club on Monday 22nd September 2025.

Registration from 7.30am and hit off at 8.00am playing for the prestigious Glen Iris Trophy of Champions! Other prizes available including a round of golf for 4 with carts.

We also encourage you to bring any family / friends /smokeys that can play.

This also surfaced with the recent photos that I posted, well this one was included in the package. How good is this one, with the beautiful menu (no beers?) complete with players signatures. Mind you this is now 80 years old!

Another example of our committee researching extremely hard to find photos from yesteryear. There are some team of the century players / coaches in the photos, do you think you can name them? If not, don't despair all will be revealed at our luncheon in November where the full team will be revealed.
