Whitehorse Pioneers Football Netball Club

The Whitehorse Pioneers FNC invites all players, friends and supporters to attend a Meet the Coach evening to welcome Nicho and Joel as our Mens and U19s Football coaches.

Dinner and drinks will be available to purchase from 7:00pm at Springfield Park, and the clubrooms will stay open for anyone wanting to watch the Fremantle v Hawthorn final from 8:00pm.

U19s COACH ANNOUNCEMENT

The Whitehorse Pioneers would like to thank coach Nick Repalust for his dedication and commitment to our football program over multiple years.

In 2027, we welcome Joel Donker as our U19s Football Coach, who is excited to continue the momentum that has been building over recent finals campaigns.

Joel and the U19s team will continue to be supported by our Senior Men’s players and coaches in 2027.

A gallant 2026 campaign for the U19s ends with a narrow defeat to the minor premiers on Saturday, and the end the season with 2 premierships, both won at Springfield Park!

Congratulations to all involved in an excellent final week of Whitehorse football.

The end of an amazing season.

We are so proud of our awesome 19s who fell just short today, missing out on the grand final by 8 points.

This team has been such a joy to watch. They bought into the Pioneers way from the start and have been such an important part of our club this year.

Known for their iconic 4th quarter blitzes and phenomenal culture, we couldn’t be prouder of the run they have had and to see them be even stronger next year.

With that, the 2026 season comes to an end. Thank you to our incredible sponsors and supporters, 2027 is looking so bright! 🐴💪🏼

Welcome to our biggest football weekend of the season, as the future of the club takes centre stage!

The U19s take on Upper Ferntree Gully on Saturday from 10:20am for a place in the Grand Final. This team continues to step up and perform in clutch moments, so make sure you're there in Maroon & White to witness another exciting chapter of this team's impressive 2026 story.

On Sunday, the future of the Pioneers at will play off for premiership glory! There will be 3 x Grand Finals played at Springfield Park from 11:00am, including the U13 Mixed, U16 Girls and Youth Boys teams, whilst the U15 Boys will be at Lyndon Park Reserve from 12:00pm.

A number of these junior players have supported the Pioneers in 2026, including as water carriers and spectators of Senior Football games, so it would be great to show up in Maroon & White and get behind these teams as they battle for the ultimate football glory.

It is with great pleasure that the Whitehorse Pioneers FNC announce and introduce Matthew Nicholson as our new Senior Men’s Football coach.

‘Nicho’ comes to us from EFNL Premier Division club, Noble Park, where he was the Senior Assistant Men’s Football Coach for the 2026 season, and previously held key coach and list management roles at Caulfield Bears and Upwey Tecoma FNC.

Matt’s whole of club philosophy and enthusiasm to develop our Men’s Football playing list makes him a perfect fit for our community club, and we look forward to welcoming Matt and his family as the club prepares for the 2027 season.

A very successful weekend on the field for the Pioneers, with the Netballers claiming the EFNL Division 8 premiership, and the U19s producing another commanding final quarter performance to overcome Rowville and keep their premiership hopes alive.

It was great to have so much Maroon and White at our finals games this weekend, and we hope to see our supporters back at Wally Tew Reserve this Saturday morning from 10:20am to cheer on the U19s in the Division 3 U19.5 Preliminary Final against Upper Ferntree Gully.

NETBALLERS ARE PREMIERS!

After many recent campaigns contending at the top of the ladder, our amazing Netballers have secured another premiership for the club, taking out the 2026 EFNL Division 8 flag with a commanding 31-16 victory over Vermont.

Congratulations to all of the players involved on an amazing season, and to the team's fearless leader, , who was named Best on Court in the Grand Final!
