Happy Father’s Day from East Box Hill Cricket Club.

Today we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, father figures and special people who are such a big part of our cricket community.

The ones who coach, score, drive, volunteer, throw balls in the backyard, cheer from the boundary and help make community cricket happen week after week.

We also send love to those missing their own dads today, and to anyone for whom Father’s Day brings mixed emotions.

Thank you to all the wonderful father figures in our club community.

Our senior men were back into it last week, and this Sunday we’re welcoming even more of our junior group back to Howard Wilson Oval.

For women and girls aged 12+, it’s a local opportunity to play, develop and be part of a team — whether you’re experienced, returning to cricket or ready to take the next step.

A Grade and Social Smash options are also available.
