🏏 𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗥𝗔𝗣 | 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞!

After last weekend’s washout, our senior men finally got their season underway, our women returned for Round 2, and our juniors hit the field for their first matches of the season!

Some great results, a few first wins and plenty of new faces representing the Breakers for the first time.

Our Stage 3 Girls get underway on Wednesday, bringing us one step closer to having all our teams up and running!

Well done to everyone who took the field this weekend, and thanks to all the volunteers who helped make it happen.

A big welcome to all our junior players and families for 2026/27!

We're especially excited to welcome so many new players to East Box Hill this season, with two new junior teams joining our Breakers family!

Here's to a season of making friends, learning new skills, having fun and enjoying plenty of cricket.

🏏 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗧𝗪𝗢 – 𝗟𝗘𝗧'𝗦 𝗚𝗢, 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗦!

After last weekend's washout, our senior men are hoping to finally get their 2026/27 season underway!

We've welcomed some new faces to the club and plenty of familiar ones are back for another season.

12:30pm start time for all one day games this season!

After a strong season last year, the goal is simple - go one better in 2026/27!

Meanwhile, our senior women head into Round 2, taking on reigning premiers Bayswater Park in a great early-season challenge.

𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 🏏

Senior cricket kicked off this weekend and, in true October fashion, the rain washed out Saturday's men's matches. Fortunately, the women were treated to a glorious day for our first-ever match in the RDCA.

In a high-scoring contest, we just couldn't find the breakthrough needed to break a crucial partnership, with Nunawading claiming a 9-wicket victory.

There were plenty of positives to take away, led by Addi's superb 72 from 78 balls and Captain Izzy, who fell agonisingly short of a half-century with 49 from 64 deliveries.

While the result didn't go our way, the team showed plenty of promise in its first outing.

Next up, we take on the reigning premiers, Bayswater Park, in Round 2.

𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗕𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲/𝟮𝟳

We’re proud to confirm that Chris Robertson will continue as our Club Captain for the 2026/27 season. ❤️

Chris has proudly represented the Breakers since 1994/95 and has now played more than 300 senior games for East Box Hill.

Few people know our club better. His experience, commitment to East Box Hill and the example he sets for those around him make Robbo exactly what we’re after in a player and captain of our club.

We’re thrilled to have him leading the Breakers again this season.

All junior families are invited to join us for a short and fun evening to kick off the season together.

Pizza will be provided for families, and it will be a chance to meet coaches, coordinators, key contacts and our Child Safety Officers before the season begins.

We’ll also share what to expect this season and how families can help make the year run smoothly.
