What an outstanding year Sandy is having. Congratulations on winning the CQ Championships….well done to other club members getting amongst the winners lists, we had several members contesting.

After 2 Days, 2 Clubs, 36 Holes, numerous putts and countless lost balls from 139 Nominations we are pleased to congratulate the overall winners of the 2026 Golf CQ Open Championships held this weekend at Emu Park Golf Club and Yeppoon Golf Club Incorporated.

Golf CQ would like to thank both clubs for presenting their courses in such good condition for this event and everyone involved in making this such a successful weekend.

Results of today’s sporter = Winner on a c/b was Vince Chapman (28) 15 nett, r/u was Clive Butler (29) 15 nett, putts winner on a c/b Kenny Speers 13 putts.

Saturday 19th , No Juniors, social golf all day.
Sunday 20th , Monthly 4BBB Medal-Stableford. 8.30am shotgun start.
Tuesday 22nd , Ladies American Foursomes, arrange partners. 8.30am start.
Wednesday 23rd , Vets Single V Par. 9*.30am start.
Friday 25th , Sporters 9 hole comp, 10.30am start. 2 Person Ambrose, starts 7am from Proshop and runs all day.
Saturday 26th , Social golf all day.
