Did you know this Friday fun fact?

14/05/2026

No red eyes. No dry skin. No shivering after lessons 💧

Our toasty 32°C Magna Mineral pools are designed to create a calm, comfortable experience for every child in the water. The mineral water is gentle on eyes, skin and hair, without the harsh feel of a typical chlorine pool.

For children with sensitive skin or little ones still building confidence in the water, it can make such a difference. The water feels softer, the pools stay beautifully clear and the warm temperature helps children relax and enjoy their lessons.

It’s all part of creating a swimming experience that feels comfortable from the moment you walk in 💙

Come and feel the Shapland difference.

On Friday we celebrated our wonderful Taigum, Warner and Morayfield Manager, Terri, as she starts maternity leave to welcome bub #2 💙

We’re going to miss you around the schools, Terri! Wishing you all the best for this exciting new chapter and we can’t wait to see you and your little one back at the pool soon.

Did you know floating is one of the most important water safety skills a child can learn?

If a child ever finds themselves in trouble in the water, being able to roll onto their back and float can help them stay calm, keep breathing easily and wait for help.

It’s a simple skill, but in an emergency it can make all the difference.

There’s no off season when it comes to water safety 🤍

Water is part of everyday life, not just summer. From pools and baths to holidays and weekends by the water, confidence and safety skills matter all year round.

Continuing lessons through the cooler months helps children stay confident in the water, continue progressing, and feel safe and comfortable whenever they swim ✨

Consistency really does make all the difference.

Consistency is the secret sauce to learning how to swim! The more often swimmers dive in, the quicker they build confidence, strength and solid technique.

We always recommend taking more than one class a week, here’s why:

🪼 Master skills quicker through regular, focused practice
🪼 Build muscle memory faster
🪼 Boost water confidence and overcome fears faster
